Celebrating Social Value

Celebrating Social Value

On Friday, 4th July 2025, we held our most recent Social Value Discussion Forum, bringing together colleagues from across the group for an inspiring virtual session. This open forum provides an opportunity for everyone to hear about the incredible social value work being delivered across the business, to celebrate success, share best practice and look ahead to what is coming next.

The session was opened by Fay Poddington, who delivered a fantastic presentation showcasing Purdy’s recent social value activities. Fay shared the powerful video of the Upshire train carriage project, which captured the attention of the group and demonstrated the creativity and impact our teams continue to bring to their local communities.

Following Fay’s presentation, we were joined by David Bullen, CEO of Kinovo, who spoke passionately about the future of social value within Sureserve. David shared a powerful message about the importance of keeping social value at the heart of everything we do. He commended Pippa Pang and the wider team for their continued efforts and delivery across the group. He shared that Graham Levinson, Sureserve Group CEO, has recognised the exceptional work taking place and is committed to ensuring that social value continues to be supported and embedded across all offices and businesses in the wider group. His words provided a real sense of pride and excitement about the future of our newly acquired group and the role social value will play within it.

We then heard from Trudie Davies, who presented on the fantastic activities taking place at Dunhams and Spokemead. Her presentation highlighted the diverse ways our teams are delivering impact, from grassroots community initiatives to structured support programmes that are truly making a difference.

The forum closed with the sharing of our overall Social Value figures for the year. We are incredibly proud to report that our Total Social Value Impact Value for 2024/25 is £65,673,834.60. This includes a Non-Financial Total Social Value Impact Value of £7,032,188.06. With a target of £4.8 million and a previous year’s result of £3.8 million, this achievement is a remarkable reflection of the commitment and collaboration across the group.

It was a motivating and celebratory session, reminding us all of the power of social value and the positive impact we are having across our communities and the wider sector. Let’s continue working together to build on this momentum and drive meaningful change.
