Recently our teams came together at our Mott Street office for a fundraising day in support of Building Heroes, a charity that helps British Army service leavers, veterans and their families. The charity provides opportunities for veterans to learn new skills and find employment by recruiting, reskilling and redeploying those who have kept us safe. We love to sponsor this charity, both with fundraising and providing employment and training opportunities as part of our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.
Each activity was a £2 and colleagues in the office got involved by wearing their army outfits or something green, baking and enjoying some tasty treats, taking part in a sweepstake and testing their aim in our target practice game.
A big thank you to Natalie Baptiste and her daughter, who added a personal touch to our Building Heroes fundraising efforts with beautiful hand-made bracelets, which Natalie brought into the office to sell.
We’re pleased to share an impressive £808.25 was raised – all of which will go directly towards supporting the Building Heroes charity. Thank you everyone in the team who contributed, dressed up, baked, donated and joined in to support this brilliant cause.
